Capella at Galaxy Macau will be a gleaming symbol of opulence, standing tall as a 17-storey marvel designed by the esteemed Paris-based firm Moinard Bētaille. The hotel’s interiors, inspired by the lush landscapes of Macau, feature 36 Sky Villas and 57 Suites, each offering stunning views and bespoke amenities. The Sky Villas will include luxurious features such as transparent infinity-edge pools, private cocktail bars, and exclusive karaoke rooms, providing a serene retreat amidst Macau’s bustling environment.
Bruno Moinard and Claire Bētaille of Moinard Bētaille share their thoughts on the design, saying, We were granted exceptional creative freedom in designing Capella at Galaxy Macau, inspired by Macau’s dynamic spirit and rich history. Our tropical jungle theme aims to offer guests a luxurious experience intertwined with water and nature.
Exceptional Dining and Cultural Experiences
Capella at Galaxy Macau will introduce a unique gastronomic experience with a new fine-dining restaurant by renowned Hong Kong chef, Vicky Cheng. Celebrated for his innovative culinary approach, Cheng’s new concept will offer a sophisticated blend of French and Chinese flavours. The restaurant, designed by award-winning interior designer Joyce Wang, will feature an intimate setting allowing guests to engage directly with the chef’s culinary expertise.
Chef Cheng comments, “I am excited to bring my distinctive culinary concept to Capella Galaxy Macau. My new restaurant will celebrate the Pearl River Delta’s rich ingredients and culinary heritage with a fresh, international twist.”

Capella at Galaxy Macau will also feature a members-only lounge, ‘Pony & Plume,’ designed by Hong Kong’s Albert Kwan, known for his colonial Chinoiserie-inspired interiors. This space will provide an exclusive setting for refined socialising, showcasing rare whiskies and historical curiosities.
